Just started the Solo Leveling Reawakening modpack and feeling a little lost? Don’t worry, every Hunter starts somewhere. This beginner’s guide will walk you through the crucial first steps of your journey, from finding the Evaluator to getting your first set of gear and skills.
The First Quest: Finding the Evaluator’s Hut
The moment you spawn in a new world with this mod installed, you have one single priority. Forget punching trees or mining—your number one, absolute first quest is to find an Evaluator’s Hut.
These are unique, grey and white structures that spawn in Plains biomes. You cannot progress in the mod at all until you find one. Inside, you’ll see a secretary NPC and a large purple crystal.
Awakening: Getting Your Class and Rank
Once you’ve found the hut, it’s time for your Awakening. Walk up to the purple crystal and place your hand on the pole supporting it.
The System will take a reading and the secretary will announce your new status, assigning you a random Class (like Mage or Assassin) and a random Rank (from F all the way up to S). This is the true beginning of your journey.
Understanding Your Hunter ID
After your Awakening, you will receive a Hunter ID card in your inventory. This item is your official verification as a Hunter. It displays your name, your assigned Class, and your starting Rank.
Don’t worry if you get a low starting Rank like E or F! This is completely random, and you will be able to increase your Rank as you level up and grow stronger.
What’s in Your Starter Pack? (All Classes)
Along with your Hunter ID, you’ll receive a Starter Pack with gear and items tailored to your new Class. This will give you the boost you need to survive your first encounters. All packs also include 16 Bread.
Here’s what you can expect to find for each class:
- Assassin: C-Rank Dagger, Chainmail Boots.
- Mage: E-Rank Dagger, Leather Cap.
- Fighter: Gold Leggings.
- Tank: Chainmail Chestplate.
- Healer: 2 Golden Apples.
- Archer: Spirit Bow or a Mana Gun, Leather Vest.
Pro-Tip: Your starting class is random, but you’re not stuck with it forever. You can change your class later for 1000 gold in the “Shop” section of the System Menu (default key ‘N’).
